How often do you change Allevyn Dressing? | Shop Wound Care

 

After the application of adhesive one should inspect it regularly. Depending on the condition of the wound keep the adhesive for at least 7 days or until you see the exudate from the dressing, whichever is earlier.

 

How to remove Allevyn Dressing?

 

Follow these simple steps to remove the Allevyn Adhesive Dressing-

  • Lift one edge of the adhesive dressing
  • Slowly peel back until completely removed from the wound
  • Remove the Sacral dressings from the top edge and down towards the anus. It minimizes the potential for fecal contamination
