• Protective Backing:
   - Repels external fluids while trapping wound exudate in the superabsorbent polymers
   - Helps prevent strike through and protects clothing and bandages from contamination 
• Vertical Wicking Layer:
  - Rapid wicking distributes exudate into superabsorbent polymers
• Super Absorbent Core:
   - Fibers rapidly wick the exudate vertically into the core, protecting wound edge from maceration
   - Superabsorbent sodium polyacrylate gelling polymers retain exudate even under compression
• Conformable Contact Layer:
   - Helps protect fragile tissue and provides patient comfort
   - Porous polypropylene wound contact layer designed for softness, comfort and conformability
• Indications:
   - For moderate to high exudate levels Exuding wounds
   - Venous Leg Ulcer
   - Dehisced Surgical Wound
   - Pressure Ulcer Stage III, Stage IV
   - Pressure Ulcer Unstageable due to necrotic base
   - Diabetic (Neuropathic) Foot Ulcer
   

What does Tegaderm Superabsorber Dressing do?

• Absorbs and retains exudate in the dressing minimizing the risk of maceration of the wound edges, even under compression 
• Maintains a moist wound environment. 
• Removes exudate away from the skin surface through rapid, vertical wicking. 
• Traps the wound fluid and wound fluid components away from the wound.
   

Suggested Applications:

• Primary or secondary dressing for management of moderate to high exuding partial and full-thickness wounds 
• Pressure ulcers 
• Venous Leg ulcers 
• Neuropathic (diabetic foot) ulcers 
• Dehisced surgical wounds
