Questions & Answers

What frequency do we need for this treatment
Teri - 7/29/2016 12:20:46 PM
Than you for contacting us. A change in color (white) indicates when IODOFLEX* Dressings should be changed, usually two to three times a week. Remove the existing dressing by moistening with saline if adhering to the wound surface. Remove any remaining IODOFLEX* with a gentle stream of saline or sterile water if applicable. Gently blot any excess fluid before reapplying IODOFLEX*.

Can the Iodoflex be interchanged with Iodosorb and a dry dressing??

IODOFLEX and IODOSORB are a range of Cadexomer dressings with Iodine products, available in three presentations, powder, gel or ointment, hence can be interchanged but before that please consult with your healthcare professional.
