SC Johnson Professional Bactoshield Surgical Scrub contains chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) that kills a broad spectrum of microorganisms including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE). It is designed for healthcare personnel handwashing, surgical hand scrubbing, preoperative skin preparation, and general skin cleansing. It has a thicker formulation for less run-off and better lathering characteristics, and is amber in color, with a fresh scent.
