MediPlus Super Foam Ag Dressing consists of soft, thick and elastic polyurethane foam, sandwiched between an outermost layer of breathable polyurethane film and wound-contacting polyethylene net containing silver metal ions. The edges of the outermost and the innermost polyurethane film are sealed together with a unique technique to prevent leakage when foam is saturated with exudates.

MediPlus Super Foam Ag Dressing has absorbent and conformable pad
Soft, breathable outside film provides moisture vapor transmission from the foam layer for exudates management
Wound-contact layer is laminated PE net, preventing sticking to wounds
3 Layers are laminated together to produce a soft, thick and elastic wound dressing
Outside film acts as a bacterial barrier, and the silver inhibits bacterial growth in the dressing, which helps to prevent colonization
Silver is added to the dressing to prevent bacterial growth within the dressing
Contains 79 ppm of elemental silver bound within the wound dressing
Provides physical separation between the wound and external environments to assist in preventing bacterial contamination of the wound

More Information

Contra-indications:
- Should not be used on wounds with exposed bones or muscles
Instructions for use:
- Step 1: Choose a dressing to leave at least 1/2" margin around the wound. Peel open the paper pouch.
- Step 2: Apply with white non-adherent wound-contact layer to the wound.
- Step 3: Tape or bandage in place.
