McKesson Antibacterial Foam Dressing

McKesson Antibacterial Foam Dressing offers a sterile, non-adhesive wound dressing impregnated with PHMB. It features polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB) substance which kills and inhibits the growth of bacteria. This is designed for moderately to heavily exuding wounds and maintains effectiveness against a broad range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms including some multi-drug resistant strains such as MRSA. This product is indicated for use in the temporary management of post-surgical incisions, pressure sores, venous stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, donor sites, abrasions, lacerations, 1st, and 2nd degree burns, dermatologic disorders, other wounds inflicted by trauma, and as a secondary dressing or cover dressing for packed wounds.
