Do you just keep applying the paste without cleaning anything off for mostly bed-bound patient with stage 2 ulcers on buttocks? It "collects" on his bottom and kind of 'lumpy'.  Should a dressing be used?

Should you continue to reapply Triad paste without ever cleaning it off?  It is caking on the buttocks.  Not looking like much improvement....pressure ulcer..stage 2
