• Mode of action:
  The silver is evenly distributed in the foam. When the dressing is applied, silver is released continuously, depending on the amount of exudate from the wound
• Directions for Use:
  -Rinse the wound according to clinical practice. To optimize the use of the dressing, select a dressing that overlaps the wound edge by a minimumof two centimeters
  - Must be applied with the plain (non-printed) side to the wound
  - Use the handles to ensure aseptic application. Remove the center protective film. The dressing is shaped like an arrow. Fold the dressing in 90° angle between the arrow head and arrow tail. Let the arrow point away from the heel tip and fix the arrow tail. Secondly, fix the arrow head. Remove the handles one by one and fix the sides carefully, so the foam parts touch or overlap
  - Use the handlesto ensure aseptic application. Remove the protective film. Place the adhesive sides to the wound. Remove the handles
  - It should be changed when clinically indicated or when visible signs of exudate approach the edgeof the dressing. Dependingupon the condition of the wound the dressings may be left in place for up to 7 days
  - The semi-permeable top film is shower proof and provide a barrier function to bacteria
  - If the wound appears to show signs of deterioration please consult your specialist
