Cardinal Health NPWT Pro Therapy System is an integrated wound management system, indicated for the application of continual or intermittent negative pressure wound therapy to the wound. It may promote wound healing by the removal of fluids, including wound exudates, irrigation fluids, body fluids and infectious materials. This system is intended for patients with chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute and dehisced wounds, partial-thickness burns, ulcers (such as diabetic or pressure), flaps and grafts. The PRO/PRO to GO system is intended for use in acute, extended and home care settings.

Why choose Cardinal Health NPWT Pro Therapy System

  • Small, lightweight device (0.9lbs) for patient mobility
  • Quiet operation for patient discretion
  • Easy to operate with a simple, intuitive design

NPWT PRO Therapy System Features

  • Simple Operation - Therapy activation and changing of Pressure Settings can be accomplished with just a push of a button. Lights next to the Pressure Settings clearly indicate current therapeutic settings.
  • Light Weight/Impact Resistant - The PRO weighs only 0.4kg (0.9 lb.) and can be easily carried. The NPWT PRO comes with a cover that is impact resistant to help prevent damage from dropping.
  • Noise - The PRO is quiet in its normal operation with a well-sealed dressing.
  • Battery - An internal battery in the PRO provides up to 24 hours of operation from a fully-charged battery. The battery charges while PRO is plugged into an outlet with the A.C. Power Adapter. If the battery charge is less than 20%, the system beeps in counts of 3 and a low battery "3" alert is displayed as well.
  • Power/Charging Status - The system also has an alert for showing when it is charging its internal battery and/or when its running on external power.
  • Intermittent Mode - The PRO can be set to operate intermittently (5-minute ON/2-minute -25mmHg pressure cycle).
  • Alert Display - It consists of automated alerts for Low Pressure/Leak, Canister Full, Low Battery and Therapy Timer. Alerts are both visual and audible. Alerts self-reset once the problem is corrected or can be manually reset by turning the PRO off and then back on. Audible alerts can be muted for 5 minutes by pressing and holding the ON button until a series of beeps is heard. The alert continues to flash in the Alert Display while the PRO is muted.
    - NOTE: Alert 4(Service Timer) cannot be silenced or reset.
  • SpeedConnect - The NPWT PRO comes with 8-foot, single-lumen tubing set. An adhesive SpeedConnect makes connection to the dressing quick and easy.
  • Canisters - The NPWT Device is intended for use with 300cc and 500cc canisters. Both canisters can be used for normal and highly exudating wounds.

In order to assure the highest safety, quality and efficacy, the PRO should only be used with the Cardinal Health NPWT Dressing Kits and Cardinal Health NPWT disposables. Use of any other brand of wound dressings are not compatible with the PRO and are not recommended.
