What to buy with Hydrofera Blue Foam

How Hydrofera Blue Ready Transfer Foam Dressing Work

  • Polyurethane foam is the key material in Hydrofera Blue READY-Transfer Antibacterial Dressings.
  • The dressings work in two parts: effectively controlling bacteria and managing wound fluid.
  • Unlike some dressings, there's no film backing, allowing it to hold more fluid.
  • The foam quickly absorbs wound fluid.
  • Once absorbed, the fluid is transferred to a secondary dressing.
  • The secondary dressing locks in the absorbed fluid, preventing leaks.
  • Throughout this process, the dressings provide antibacterial protection against a wide range of microorganisms.

How to use Hydrofera Blue Dressing

Helps Heal Wounds: Hydrofera Blue READY-Transfer Foam Dressings are good for not-so-deep wounds that ooze a lot.

How to Put It On:

  • First, make sure your wound is clean.
  • Choose a dressing size that covers your whole wound. There are two sizes: small (2.5 x 2.5 inches) and medium (4 x 5 inches).
  • Use gauze or tape to keep it in place.

How Long It Can Stay:

  • You can keep the dressing on for up to seven days.
  • Ask your doctor how often you should change it.

Indications

Hydrofera Blue READY-Transfer is indicated for use on pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, superficial burns, donor sites, skin grafts, post-surgical incisions, traumatic wounds, skin tears, abrasions, and lacerations.
