Anasept Antimicrobial Skin And Wound Gel Features

  • Long-lasting, broad-spectrum bactericidal (including the antibiotic-resistant strains MRSA and VRE), fungicidal and virucidal properties
  • Clear, amorphous, isotonic hydrogel dressing helps maintain a moist wound environment that is conducive to healing, by either absorbing wound exudate or donating moisture while delivering 0.057% broad-spectrum antimicrobial sodium hypochlorite

How to apply Anacept Gel for Wounds?

Skin:

  1. Cleanse the skin with an appropriate cleanser
  2. Apply a thin layer of Anasept gel on the treated site
  3. Repeat as needed


Sores:

  1. Clean and/or debride the wound as needed
  2. Apply a generous layer of Anasept gel directly on the wound (3 to 5 mm (1/8 to 3/16 in.) layer
  3. Cover the wound with sterile gauze or other dressing appropriate and secure in place. (Avoid dressings containing silver or other metals.) Keep the wound moist between dressing replacements.
